Lucky I'm an Ex-Rib Noba!

else I wouldn't have been out in the snow today picking my new boat up.

After a bit of fun and games I took her back to Poole tonight.

It was a bit rough outside Hurst and I have to say I was very impressed by the dry ride.

Ben

That was a very distressing name to give any boat. Would like to understand why Mark S. did that.

Unless I'm mistaken, that was the Hunton 34 Maverick originally owned by 'HIM' (now the owner of Mr Noisy) who is a member of this forum.

When I asked 'HIM' how he came up with that name he told me it was because the boat wasn't yellow. Strangely enough, I can follow the logic and the humour. Maybe that's why I enjoy racing with him.

This is all well & good, but are you now ready to denounce ribs, and pledge allegiance to the superior and more stylish side of boating?

Well done geeza, looking forward to meeting up on the water.

I may need to get some counselling as the trip back from the Hamble didn't involve getting wet, even in the lumpy stuff off Hurst. When I got home I donned my dry suit put my spare VHF in my pocket and got my girlfriend to chuck a few buckets of water over me Not sure what to do with my dry suit now!

Can't wait to get it serviced and sort out the various issues that need doing.

Jackie has been really helpful during the sale and it was a pleasure buying from her and Mike.
