I have the same aim to scan my P25 once our scanner is free and I have some spare time to process the data and do a proper job.

What software you using to process the data?

the software is Leica's Cyclone, which works natively with the scanner. it can be outputted to 3D studio max, autocad etc which we may use to mess about with it.

regards a model, i'm thinking of sending it to a 3D printer to get a model, yes. but mainly its to help with making a cradle, new deck for MM2
