Hi All

Just new here and don't really know where to introduce myself, I am in the middle of trying to buy a Marshan 19 but I am unsure of the engine, i think its a 2.5 offshore carb version.
Can anyone confirm this for me ? and maybe an approximate year?

I cant get numbers etc as the outfit is 400 miles from me at the present time.

Thanks

What have you done to make it "lightweight"?

Peter,

I owned this boat along time ago. It looks like the motor i put on its the same cowling. If it is it's a hot XR2.

Thanks Scotty

The boat is home in my garage and is going for a quick once over next week, the only concern so far was the two half of the crankcase are different colours.
It may be nothing or it could mean that its had a lot of work done, but as the engine is running and ticking over very well, its not a big concern.
From what i have been told the boat was bought by a guy who brought it Ireland and had a boat delivery/transport business, he moved to New Zealand and sold it to the man i bought it off. It has hardly been used in the past 3 years or so and needs lot of spit and polish !

I sold it to a guy from Ireland. The motor I sold it with didn't have a different colour front half.......
And I think he did have a delivery business from memory......
