That would explain it then. Was there a specific issue with the lambo/ssm setup?

Hi MAT,

Yes purple , it's not a "Barbie" boat !!!

Boat was great, very nice, max speed i saw was 66 mph on gps, with 2 persons and all the seats in the boat, but shine walking, and difficult to handle in flat water, it needed more time to adjust it...

It was better in rough water.

I sold the boat 3 weeks ago, originaly, i didn't want to sell it, i had even bought an hydro jack plate to put on....

But the boat was in front of my office, in as new condition, and every one seeing it wanted to buy it, so i sold it to a man who was looking for a 21 ring and nothing else.

It was the nicest Ring 21 i have seen, there is another 21 E in France, (Bruno on this forum) and his boat seems to be also in as new condition.

I'm now buying a cyclone 21 in UK also, i will see how it handdle.

Regards

Just found this good picture of my favorite Ring on my daughters Facebook. I think it's from Hunstanton this year but I don't know who took it!

Of the twelve categories at the last European Ski Racing Championships in Spain ten might have been won by Bernicos but two were won by Rings.

Test different props to find something you like. I got my R21 up to 54 knots (62 mph) with a Mariner 135 running a 24 pitch Ballistic prop @ 5600 rpm.

Bought a Opti 225 and the current record is 65,8 knots (75 mph) with a Fury 27.

A Swedish forum www.boatlife.se yearly arranges PPT, ProppProvarTräffen (Prop Testing Meet). Everyone brings some props so we in one day can test several different ones. And in the evening we drink an lie about why the boat did´t go as fast as expected.

That's Barry clayton's old boat, one of my parent's best friends until he met an untimely end. I used to love that thing as a kid

No Dowdy, 21 is still yellow on the bottom but flag blue all over, left over from a yacht we painted.
