Mike, hope you remember making this one 15 years ago,for ski racing F3 complete with gold anodised rubbing strip, fast fast boat with a Neil Holmes special XR2 with fuel injection & 2.4 components c/w circuit modded computer. Must have tried upwards of 2 dozen plus chips before the magic one that set it alight (figuratively speaking). Happy days no limits then, when "green" was just a colour !!!!!

Running with a merc 200 on. Not sure about the 21C as i moved to this from a 20' Phantom. This is like being in a bentley compared to a phantom. Copes with all weathers and rough waters - brilliant boat

Hi Mike, unfortunately, it's not my boat. A friend of mine in Corsica sent the pics to me a few months ago. As far as I know, the boat should still be located there. The guy in Corsica wanted to sell the Ring, but I'm not sure if he managed to find somebody...

We launch from either New Brighton or Liverpool Sailing club in Speke which has a 1000' slipway right to the low water channel. Don't worry I'm in your club as well i've 'found' the sand banks a few times!!

Hi Graham,

Your white and pink 21 is mine since the begining of the year, now registred in France with the help of Mike who gave me all the CE certificate, big thanks to him.

Here in Port Camargue, south of France we have three ring 21 now,
my 21 E,

a 21 C SPEEDFLYER ( wich race in France )

and another 21 C(i think), DOUBLE IMPACT, i think wich come from UK but need a new floor, it will be ready for next season normally, this one is very strong, i think it was designed to be rigged with twin, peharps someone know it ? Mike ?

My 21 E, 200 opti, an hydro cmc lift will come soon on it.

SPEEDFLYER with 150 merc / and with 200 verado for next season

DOUBLE IMPACT no engine at the moment, but a verado will normally go on

We will play this summer

Thanks to Mike for those nice boats

Here is a 20 series B , Peter Ash won class 3C championship in the early eighties in this boat.
If there any of these around still for sale buy it as I reckon these were the quickest of the R20 fleet.

I did one race navigating for Peter in that boat - Torquay (1982?) - certainly was quick.

Power trim failed early on and did a calm race fully trimmed in and still came in 3rd in class.

If you mean Crusher Destroyer it's not a 20B. It measures 21ft and Mike dated by the pics as between '78 and '82 I think. It's quite different to that picture. It is for sale though for a couple of hundred quid though, I just want back what i spent on paint and materials.

Hi Ben,

I built that one for Tony Donald mid eighties. I last saw it in L.A. WSX.
No sign of it since.
