No. Mine started life as triple engined Bravo boat. The original owner was hard on the boat and went through numerous drives in the first year. He then sent the boat back to Sutphen for a reconfiguration to a twin staggered #6 boat. It is laid up similar to the race models and has no deck hatches etc. But it still has a furnished cuddy cabin. The cockpit has no rear sit down seats.

I know i'm ignorant.

But i havent heard of most of those. Cougars was an absent minded mistake. When i lived in Brighton....all i ever heard on "south today" was the plight of Vospers & i've never seen an out & out performance pleasure boat by them?

I was implying that i know of many 18-22ft boats other than Ring/ Phantom.....if you include such alike as all the half-whitted copies and things such as the picton nemesis.

but wheres the 30ft scarab, baja hammer and suchalike competitors?

Hardly compares with Fountain Powerboats' illlustrious history. Reggie was a life insurance salesman after all.

Too Old: When I saw your first picture showing your boat, I thought "what a beautiful boat", but when I saw the #6s, I thought "what the ****!?" That is just amazing seeing those lovely grives on a standard boat!! And the dash aswell was briliant. Will be interessting to follow this tread closely and see what numbers you get. What gear ratios and props are you running?

Cheers from Norway
