Never Ending Project

Here's a few pictures of the Sutphen I've had for about a year now. I bought the hull without power or drives. Drives have been purchased and installed. Motors are very close to being finished and should be on the dyno soon.

I believe so. Their adverts used to read "No Beaks, No Bustles, No Bull".

By the way, what size are the blowers? (and welcome to Boatmad)

Why does the name "Sutphen" sound like a charlie chester or mass murderer?

Whats the history on Sutphen?

Perhaps he's going to do some charter work in the solent, and he needs an alternate means of steering incase the hydraulics fail!

Oh, you meant the boat?

Sutphens have a great rough water reputation. They have a 26 degree bottom which is pretty steep.

They don't build many boats, but they've been in business for a long time originally building PT boats for the military back in the 30's. The company is still in the same family.

Thanks for the welcome to the far side of the pond. Or am I on the far side of the pond?
