He obviously didnt talk to his nav much either coz i'd of known mine had gone straight away! (apart from the kill cord actually working).

That was at the Class III 2 litre worlds in Cape Town - The driver was a local with very little experience and got the boat together for the event - if I remember rightly his navigator was someone who had come over with us and got in the back to help out? Anyway he ended up in hospital for a check up and was let out later with very bad bruising.

He went round again and it took forever for the rescue boats to realise there was someone in the water!

In South Africa it wasn't so bad, but in Norway we had to find a rusty scaffold pole stuck in a small rock from over 10 miles away - that was bad enough, but the course was from offshore, so the land which was the same colour was the background!
