There's a lot of very 'fresh' looking rust & corrosion in those pics. can't quite get my head round that.

doesn't look like it's run for yonks, not even ten minutes running.

the rod split middle of v into water section which then pumped water through middle cylinders,4 days in salt water ,not good.
