Nice helicopter footage.

Its nice to see other boats being filmed by helis other than the class 1's and the American super classes.

No Batboats or Beecrafts? Any hull restrictions?

Both the national classes V-150 and V-50 (50 hp) does not allow so called "wing boats" (Bat(Mannerfeldt, BeeCraft etc.) in order to reduce
cost to a minimum. However, in class V-50 the Dalla Pieta (yess the one from 1967 in fiberglass new version) which some will define as wing boat is allowed. ( See new link below to another helo video from race last weekend)
V-50 is our "rookie" class, special arrangement with authorities (law) allows
kids to start from 12 years of age. Quite impressive to see those young kids
handle the boats in approx 45-50 knots in heavy weather, we have surprisingly experienced that they sometimes keep up with the bigger class III boats in rough conditions. Both classes "low cost" and very popular in Norway/Sweden, total approx 25-30 teams V-150 expected and 20-25 teams V-50 expected.
