Talking Phantom 23 with 225hp Evinrude

Hi everybody,

let me first introduce myself: I'm Patrick (or Paddy) from South Germany, and I love speed- and powerboats (like everyone here... ).
I'm a member of the German "offshoreonly-crew" (like Norman with the 21ft. Phantom), and we all love to go fast on the water.
That's why I have sold my Regal Velocity 23 with a 350 Mercruiser Magnum inboard and bought now one the last original Phantom 23 built by Steve Baker with a 225hp Evinrude Vindicator.

I hope that you will all like my new boat. I'm so happy that I got the chance to buy an original 23ft Phantom in such a good shape. It's not easy to get one for a reasonable price. By the way, it's the first 23ft Phantom in Germany...

Here are some pics for you...

Regards
Paddy

Thanks a lot, I love those Phantoms, too. But your 21 Phantom looks absolutely gorgeous, too.

By the way, I know somebody in Germany who is looking for a Phantom 21, but I don't think he wants to spend so much money. He is looking for a cheap version. But I will send him your link, so he can take a look at the boat and decide what to do.

Paddy,

With these Phantoms, no doubt as you know you pays for the quality

If the person is interested it can always be trailered to Dover, and I also have a lot more photographs that can be emailed.

Also I could also come to an arrangement on the price

I know what you want to say. Nothing in life is for free... I know that it is very difficult to find a Phantom in perfect shape for a good price.
I've sent him the link, if he's interested in the boat, I will let you know...

Did you buy this boat in the Netherlands?

Looks a lot like a 23 Phantom with that colours and engine that was for sale by a phantom-speacialized dealer nearby here in the Netherlands.

Great looking boat!

There are riggers around who'd consider that the proper way to make something.

Yes, you are right. But I'm very proud that the hull is one of the last original P23 hulls built by Steve Baker. The hull number indicates that it is an original (from 2001). I wouldn't have bought the boat if it wasn't a Steve Baker hull...

That will be one of the very last boats!

Nice.
