What race was this! I guess its early eightys! was it a torquay race ???????

Definately not guernsey, way too big for starters!

I can't believe the nav hugging the motor in the 2nd vid, thats insane!!
I assume they lost the cowling and he's trying to keep everything dry! love it!

2nd is GCI & I think the L-C-L when len was in the steering well maybe RTI cant recall

ooh dear, i take it back then... i need to get out on the water and used to the coastline more!

Steering??!! thats just nuts!! It never ceases to amaze me what people used to do in the races back then, imagine trying that in the honda series!

Watched before on boatmad gallery remember thinking the black single engine boat looks very much like the one we raced back around then, the 80's were offshore's best years loads of boats in lots of classes at most venues maybe a comeback with the new drive led by RB08
