Trying to post this but won't let me:

Has anyone seen or herd anything about this boat recently? I contacted Revenger Boats but they seem to have no information on this boat.

I last saw it in the late 1999-2001 period. It was obviously used a lot at Mudeford (hence the name).Back then it had 2 x 200 Mercurys and the owner was a guy called Steve. It was, and still is my dream boat.

I've got pictures of it but can't seem to attach them at the moment.

I spoke to Phil from Revenger and Mike. They said there was a badly modified example with twin Mercury Optimax 225hp but Phil only knew vague info about Mudeford Vice which was a very good example. He said it may have even been the display model at the Southampton Boat Show back in the 1990's.

Have you got any further details of where, when or how it when up in smoke and does anyone recall a guy Steve owning it?

Attched is ther picture!

We had one just like this, maybe even this one, at Allhallows YC. It "was hit by a stray firework" on Nov. 5th. a few years ago and burnt to the ground......

The badly modified one was mine.
Don't know anything else about the twin 200 set up boat I was only told it went up in smoke when I was getting mine rigged.
That's the first picture i've seen

Any chance you could ask around/speak to members as I think there were only two outboard versions made......such a shame if it was. It will save me searching for my dream boat.

Was it owned by a guy called Steve at the time or had it changed hands?

What are the chances of that happening....?

Hunton69,

Is your boat still alive/when did you sell it? How come yours was badly modified. Is it past the point of repair?

I've got a load of pictures of Mudeford Vice. I'm in the process of moving house so as soon as I move I will up load all the pictures.

I'm absolutely gutted Mudeford Vice went up in smoke. When did you get yours rigged up with twin 225hp? I've seen the pictures of it. Looked like you were getting that professionally set up - what went wrong? Weren't you trying to sell it?

I've even asked Phil if there's any chance of spinning a 27 San Marino out of one of their moulds as the hull is apparently still used on the 27ft RIB. He didn't seem too keen.......

Although it's sad I appreciate all the info guys.

It's now a flower pot

So did I
It was rigged with the twins in 2006 ready for blade run event made it to France and came back on a trailer.

I thought the original moulds were sold.

Sake and motivator on here know about Revengers.

Thanks Coronet Kip - will do. How can we get Larby, Motivator and Sake in on this conversation?

Does anyone know if Larby's boat is inboard or outboard? It's got to be an outboard set up for me.

What's up with it and how much do you want for it? I'm assuming the engines have been removed of course?

Seems odd this thread is titled a "pic for matt" - I have no idea what we were discussing last week, let alone 8 years ago. How about a pic from Matt, instead.
