We had it re-stickered with our Sponsors name on etc. It was previously called 'Ambience'.

Ive had five fletchers, the best being a 1980 caramel arrowstreak 16 that I was told raced offshore around 80/81. It certainly had enough damage to be a raceboat as the whole side had been reglassed by 1981 and had no interior.
I still know where it is abandond in a field and is in good structual condition. Very heavy build.
The other four were a load of rubbish and crap build quality. every one had substandard floors and other defects (2x arrowflyte, 1x 70`s bullnose model and an arrowbeau (worst of the lot)

The Arrowbolt 21 and Fletcher 199 are among my favorite boats.
The 199 on the picture below was as new when I bought it in 2002, 13 years after it left the factory. And treated right it will stay that way !
Off course a heavier boat can often take more punishment without any damage.
This boat, however did not take any damage when I aired it out from 5 foot rollers at around 40 knots... So taken its low weight in to account , I am very pleased with the build quality.
DJB : Any pictures of your earlier or current gems ? !
Troels
