Now that is a Cig 35 Awesome (=Raised deck) Mistress=flat deck.

Looks good for it´s age did you take any engine pics.
Interior is identical to the 1981-1983 Squadron 39 or 1978-80 Cigarette 39 "Squadron" and 35 Mistress.

Saw the pics when went back already but didn´t remember the Splendid Mistress "Ruff Life" at the beginning of this thread.
Seems like stripped engines but everything Major is basically there.
Thats a really good example of a nice project.
And Yes I have read the thread from the beginning just made it short and clear of it all.

PS. Your Awesome looks great, like that shade of blue with white but still I prefer flat decks.

Yeah the Mistress sure is a nice boat i do prefer the flat deck to.

The awesome is a great boat and it good to find one which is
sound and not messed with regards to a restoration project.

I have owned the blue one since 2000 and when purchased in
a worse condition than the one on this thread.

So your´s was in the condition the thread starter is?
or Worse?

Mee thinks this project thread is good to see as from how bad wrecks we have started and how much we poured money into them.
Shows how devoted one is to this form of boating.
For me it has been a boyhood dream as I´ve been sailing competitively for over 30 yrs and since kid been fon of american Muscle car...dad having one and giving it to me when I got my license.

There's a Chris Craft 'Stinger' at our yard, in fact it's for sale. That looks very similar indeed to that. any idea what a CC Stinger is? (looks like the usual suspects going by the fwd spray rails)

I dunno, just been trawling through me pics to see if I had any of it, or any with it in the background, but can't find any.
It's a horrid colour, chocolate brown & cream! but in really pretty good order, hull/gelcoat wise, gels gone flat, but very few marks or scratches. I'd guess at late 70's, early 80's, but am really not sure.

I'll find out.

has TRS's & I asssume BB's..in fact, i've a vague memory of being told it has 502's in it.
