Watcha Stevie!

Great pofile pic of Top Gun - she is gleaming!

Are you going to race with us 15 / 16 August?

Good luck with the canopy search, you have come to the right place

normal services will be resumed

Hi Jacq

I was planning to come to the meeting but have had to have shoulder surgery after carrying out a full double saumersault with a twist over the roof of a BMW driver who obviously hates motorcyclists so he pulled out on me.

Its gonna be three months before the shoulder is right so my plans to race Top Gun again are out the window for now.

Let me know if you need guard boat cover as I will probably go out in the Targa and watch.

Anyway it gives me more time to sort the cat out.

Good luck with the Batboat

Why are you wanting to put 1/4 canopies on her anyhoo? Won't all that extra weight up top cause issues?

It would give me more room to set out gauges/plotters in the already tight cockpits

With the twin 2.4,s she was running just over 110 so a little extra weight with bigger motors should be fine

I'd just be careful with the amount of weight added... The difference in mine just from removing that promax and 100kg of sodden wood was incredible. I was given a lot of advice not to stray far from how she was originally and i'm definately glad i followed it! I think if i'd gone with any heavier motors etc at the back it would've become very interesting (dangerous!) in any kinda chop.
