Thanks for help guys :-)

This one I like best : http://www.photos-jouanin.fr/images/...6.html#picttop

Need to build new hull and came back next year :-)
I just need to make it stronger and buy newer ( bigger ) engine

Boat is broken, couple months of building painting and testing waisted but lesson was learned. Love racing to much to gave up.
Love how my boat performed on that waves at practice. It's shame it broke that hard.

Hope to be back next year. Maybe in UK....

Bernico VS phantom and Hydrotech or not

Just curious, what's the boat better in the rough condition, the Bernico ''If Only'' or the Phantom ''Y knots''???? On choppy waters still same difference if there is one? What's the expected life of little boats like these running at around 70mph, Do you need to replace them after 3 seasons for exemple?
Do you use hydrotech kits like this one to improve performances? Or other mods? http://www.shop.hydrotecmarine.com/p...6&categoryId=4

My Bernico is a little faster than the Phantom and handles the rough water extremely well. We tend not to stick the nose in like the Phantom so generally don't get wet.
Jeremy is 15 years younger than me and that is a big advantage.
My previous boat did 6 seasons hard racing and still in pretty good condition this one has only done 2 Seasons and shows little sign of use.
Most Phantom 19's are still going strong and Jeremy gives his a pretty hard time.
Engines are blueprinted which I am sure will get a reaction from some numpties on here and they run much the same as my first did in 1989 at around 65 mph during a race. what makes them standout is balance.
The parts you refer to from HYdrotec are really conversion kits to convert 115's to 140's
We start off with ProV 115's, 130 / 140.
