Back on the water

Red devil back in the water in Abersoch, pleased with the performance of the Hull , we had our 150 optimax put on her, runs low 60ish mph. Had problems with the engine so the re trim will have to wait for a while.

Has the whole boat been spayed before ? is the running surface gel or paint buddy, if its gel i would leave the bottom as the apache is white, do you want it exact to the apache ?

The hull looks like original gel, so would leave as is (Red) the sides and top deck have been previously painted as it's bubbling, similar to apache but with a red hull

Smile

Had a day looking over the boat today, the opti fired up and ran ok, 2 Bernico seats are in but not bolted as yet as I have some carpet to put down, hopefully the newly upholstered rear seats are ready this week. Started to remove the side cushions, not sure weather to have new ones made up in white or black or just leave as fiberglass

If you leave the fibreglass you will have loads of holes to fill where the side trims bolt through, plus id imagine it will be a different shade of red underneath where it hasnt been faded by the sun
