That is some pretty shiney primer! Should make the red pop! What is it?
I would have a black screen on your boat as I thought it looked good like that before. I dont think it would make it look dated at all on that boat! If you are going to have the deck red then are you going to go about 5" below the join with it like before?

yes i intend to go about 5 inches below like before, the paint is 2 pack polyurthene, like normal 2 pack but more resistant to weathering and more flexable.should last a while! a good example is i sprayed my r1 in this type of paint,my mate also had his sprayed in normal 2 pack, after about a week all around the belly pan and top faring he had loads of tiny stone chips whist mine stayed chip free right up to the day i sold it

Sweet as a nut! I am glad you have decided to paint her as she was before
She will look good when she is finished. Just need a more up to date design for MOTIVATION to be written on the top sides.

i thought about glassing it in but whist the front area was fairly simple to do when it goes round to the side it would take to much building up to get it to flow nice, also all the area behind the screen and dash would have to be finished off first as you cant get in there well to spray once fixed down so i decided not to,theres a rubber gasket that goes on the screen that covers all the bolt holes
