tapping around the damaged area i could hear a void in the old repair,i decided rather than grind back repair from the inside,as it was ok and sound,it would be better to attack from the front.layers of mat and roving applied to build up thickness.

final layer applied oversized,i intend to sand back slightly under and build up flush with gel coat, gav marks out of ten please?

I think what he was trying to say was it looks shite. I would of thought doing it from inside the boat would give it a better finish.

dont forget dude,when its set,im taking it down below the suface and leveling it back up with gelcoat,im certainly not leaving it oversized like in the photo!
