Ring 21 Re decking

Hi Guys ...
I'm re decking my ring 21 ... there is a lot of job !
All the wood were dead ...
I've a big problem with the transom some cracks !

What cracks? Seems to be a big job, but to keep em older boats alive they need some rebuilding ever 15-20 years or so and it seems to be worth it! Just helped a friend with a similar job, and when you are on the water again you know why you did it Keep up the good work and good luck!

The previous owner has done a rebuild 4 years ago ... but not well done ...

I'd cut a section of the fibreglass out in the area of the cracks. If the wood has turned to cheese then it needs to come out. You can laminate a new piece the right thickness out of a few layers of marine ply and epoxy and a lot of weight.

If you need any advice don't hesitate to ask.
