Roger Kennedy...
Called me today, and sent me a few pics he's been digging up from yesteryear. Thought I'd share them.
He says many more to follow...

I love that second pic of the cat being built. There's just something about it, you can just see the time and effort he's putting into it, all done by hand actually building it bit by bit, not just popping it out of a mould.
James
No disrespect intended to glass boats by the way!!

I can only name 3 pics.
2= Ray Stapely in his workshop (somewhere, JM will know)
3= Windermere speed week (Roger in 'Miss Nova Arts' ) circa '75
3= Bournemouth, Roger again in Nova Arts. also circa '75
Could make a guess on pic 5 as Torquay.??

I was going to say he had the place at Sherwood Park, Sidcup, but Budski beat me to it. Then Halling. Neil Holmes would be the one to ask as I believe he did his apprenticeship with 'Uncle Ray'.

Don't think so. Roger still has Nova Arts in his barn.

Pobjoy Mint was originally 'Scanlite', raced by Peter Bloomfield.

Hiya, apologies for now replying to a thread this old, but do you know what has now happened to Miss Nova Arts?
My father was the navigator in the 75 Putney Calais and I'm desperate to find out what has become of her.
Kind regards
Paul
