I didnt think it was going to be as rough as it was and i put on my big prop, go to just before lee on solent and could barely keep it on the plane and just was not handling, so i turned back rather than break anything. I was tempted to change props and come back out but decided not to do that journey solo. just in case.

I done enough damage in that water from racing in the past and didnt fancy a bill! been there done that.

But i see you going out of southampton water, looked great!
It was so nice to see all the boats going out together though, theres always the xmas run!

Wow I am glad Paul and I turned back, after seeing the damage to the Boss 21 (Always a shame) and then looking at the lumpy swell in these photos.

Still gutted we did make it all the way though, but hey there is always next time
