Coming from you that's quite a compliment! Thank you very much - taken on a Fuji Finepix - total amateurs camera but it came out quite well - digital "motor drive" is a help too!

My all time favorite and a very stable forgiving platform . We won numerous races and championships in that vessel . In the late 80s I was building crazy short stroke big blocks using titanium valves and other exotica . I turned the motors almost 8000 rpm with good reliability . Back then this was unheard of .I'll post some other shots and also some of a of a re styled Chris Cat we built in the mid 90s .
Jon , I find your diesel V very interesting . How big is it and what are the motors ? We are considering building a 30 footer using GM Duramax turbo diesels and am currently a partner in a venture building a 58 foot high speed luxury cat .
I'll post a bunch of stuff as soon as I can format it . JIM

Jim, please do!
The Duramax looks fab, except it's such a low revving mutha, that the tourque is monsterous! a real drive buster.
@325hp/3800-ish rpm, I get away with stock Bravos (non 'X's) but reckon I'm on the edge there.
Strangely (with many theories why) the 315 hp Yanmar in line 6 has a reputation for breaking Bravos with monotenous regularity.
Mine is 28 feet long, with a 7 foot beam. It has a pair of GM 6.5 litre diesels (base motor of the '90's blazer, Hummer etc) running a lower CR (18:1 instead of 21.3:1) I bought them as long motors from Peninsular in Michigan, and did the marinising stuff myself.
They're not the cleanest running engines in the world, as the Injector pumps aren't very smart (no boost sensing)
It runs 71mph.

Wow ! That's a fine vessel . Looks like you have it dialed in.
I just realized you guys are in the UK . How cool is that ? Guess I'm not the brightest bulb , or just too busy .
I'm in New England and our boating season is over . I'll post some stuff next week .
Regards to you all . JIM
