It's an original 4 litre P23, they stopped making them in about 1980 (very different to the '95 & on P23)

There's been quite a few twin rigged 21s for Ski racing and a few for pleasure.

I don't quite understand how that jump buggered the bathing platform.

Unless he did a mamouth trip n stuff, and the pic doesn't tell the true story, maybe that frozen image is him half way through the 'rotation' having just tripped, big time...ouch

From his posts on OSO, I believe the heavy landing "levered" the platform off. Imagine 20 captain chaos' jumping up and down on the tail end of the platform.

really?

I would have thought that if the landing was genuinly that hard, the motors would have gone clean through the bottom of the boat.. the bathing platform aint that heavy

I don't have any P21 twin pics, but I'm sure some of the Ski racer members here would have.

The newer P21/P23 and the old P23 have a completely different hull design, if you saw the two models 'in the flesh' you'd see what I mean. very easy to tell them appart.
