Craig Dempster and I head out for a run in a Happy Hooker 'Triple 7', (R20) Ski racing in Jersey. about '89/'90
This boat used to run a 235 Johnnyrude prior to the XR2, with wire steering, which let go on me once off Noirmont point, boy did it swop ends quick!

The ring piece wasn't mine, it belonged to 'Woody', a mate of mine from Jersey.
The madest boat I ever drove was a later incarnation of the '777' boats, an R21 with twin Avgas 2.4 Mod VPs, fkkn crazy machine!

They musta been Lenny Croxans ski race boats with the number 777 he still has the same number. He also had the P21 with twin 2.5s on that was/is called Bad Boy, now a single rig. That boat did'nt hang about!

Ere it is: @ la Collett slipway, Jersey, same place the pics of 'Trucks' P21 were taken. circa 1990.
Owner was Sandy Carpenter (in ski race gear on slip), she also owned a P20/200 Yam 'The Specialist'. She ran a St Helier based agency called 'Specialist Personnel'.
Just been out testing, then handing over to Chris Leboniec & Sandy Carpenter for a practice session.
I'm the skinny bloke in black crouching by the boat, this is before my wife 'fattened me up'.
