while accucard was upside down i noticed the spray rails on these boats are only shallow in depth compared to the ones on the 150hp 21'boats

all i can say is that i take the bends as if im driving a cat,and so far i havent had any problems

what would these 21's do top end if they had the honda 225? rather than the kenwood mixer....

what top end do the current 225's do, eg king of shaves ?

according to their website 150hp boats top end is 55mph/ 6000 rpm
225 boats 75 mph/6000 rpm

not really comparible are they, its just the engine thats honda after all not the cougar hull...


i once heard a comparison between a stepped hull boat and a 400hp rear wheel drive car in the wet.... its a high performance application and as with any high performance application the gains are great but they tend to demand more respect.. too much juice of a corner in a rear wheel drive car and ur gonna have a similar effect. when i fitted coilover suspension to my car my track times improved no end but on the road i kept on spining it. i just had to learn to respect it 2 years later and i havent spun it for about 8 weeks now!!

still dont think i would wanna drive a honda 225

Yeah, I was gonna say 65 ish.

And I don't know about the 150's, but the 130's didn't quite manage 50.

Half the fleet are Extreme hulls/decks, the other half are Cougar-modified Extremes.
