Many thanks - I still think there is more development in the VS22 - just a shame I could not to Guernsey to see the Worlds - or even better race myself.

Then beyond there I have some pretty exciting concepts for one-off race boats or new boats.

At one stage I was looking at a new concept for a relatively narrow tunnel cat for 3B. Would not be as quick as the Scandi cats in the calm - but still quicker than the monos and it would go in the rough too!

This is what really makes class 3 interesting to me - the possibilities to develop and improve, take different approaches etc.

It depends on the lay-up specification and materials used. Then also what is included, tanks, fittings etc. Then if you want a seamless hull / deck joint or a rub rail.

But as a guide we can supply new boats in choice of gel colours, with integral bow ballast tank, floors in, bow deck rail, U-bolts, mounting plates for battery, tanks etc. - from £7k (plus VAT). But depending on options this can go up to over £10k.

I'm happy to wok on more detailed prices and specifications if that helps, if so please e-mail me at adam@adamyoungerdesign.com
