Well I'm back!

Evening everyone,

Hope you're all well,

Since the sun started coming out I decided I was spending too much time working on everyone elses RIBs and not enough time on my boat! Therefore the old P18 has had some TLC over the past couple of weeks, a quick respray over the deck and sides, the interior all painted light grey (previously bare dirty GRP) and this week have spent the spare evenings and weekend fitting it out. All that's really left now is to get hold of some engine bolts through the week, dump the 85 on the transom and rig it up

Awaiting quote for the new graphics as we speak which will break up all the white a bit, the trailer had a complete overhaul too last year, all stripped and painted and new wheels/hubs/indespension.
Without rushing too much I should be looking at getting it wet 2 weeks from now, working over easter and have written of the week commencing the 13th for my 18th

I've attached a pic I took this evening of the new paint, I think it's made the boat look a thousand times better than before!
Also is one of the new tow vehicle, that's been the other drain on funds so far this year!

Cheers, Max

It looks like an apprentice mechanic earns good money.

Unfortunately not Tony!
However my Insurance Provider certainly does
In all seriousness my wages pay for the essentials (diesel, insurance, MOT/Tax and travel to college), anything spent on toys (i.e. boat, sound system in car, roof/spotlights, winch bumper etc etc) is all earned outside of work in evening/weekends doing other jobs. Perhaps that's why everyone says I'm so antisocial!
