Two Phantom trimarans were built for Howard Wretham - and yes neither did wonderful things, although showed a lot of potential.

The first one was a 2 litre that I ended up with. Extremely good in a head sea, pretty useful in a following and struggled in a beam. Eventually it was written off when a Ring hooked out in front of me - as I was over-taking it!

Second tri was built asa four litre - but ran a single Merc (220 I think) and was under-powered against the twin rigs. She managed to break without any help from other boats.

The Lynx 22 is now the Hydrolift Sportcat 22. The new design looks much better.

That 22 looks lovley. Though it could do with a wider cockpit for pleasure , dont seem to be much room for a 22'
