Worst Rigging in the World volume 1
I reckon this is about as bad as it gets.
It's a triple engine 'Nordic'. 40 odd foot, Arneson drives.
Centre drive shaft wasn't fitted at this point, but you can just see the rear end of the centre motor at the bottom of the pic.
Truely shocking.

Kinnel, and I thought mine was a mess!
I am going to experiment with lightweight newsprint rocker covers though!
If that works, I'll move on to tank tape battery boxes!

This was a bit of rigging on my boat. The white pipe was sikaflexed into the black pipe and jubille clips done up. It came apart just by pulling gently on the white pipe. I can't believe the boat hadn't sunk!! Also the white plastic skin fitting - a minor impact with any floating debris woulda ripped it straight out.
Both are replaced with the proper job now!

nor can i with the previous owners. if i see em on slip with current boat i always set up camp for a laugh. once they went off side edge of slip with old boat and nearly tipped the range rover over when arse sunk in seabed. then theyres the time they tried to get DR up the slip by using the boat to push the rangey that couldnt lift her out the green...
lets hope ur new name doesnt bring her bad luck dude, i liked distant rumble ( so distinct) but i think boats need ur own personal touch... happy petrol station filling

I heard some of that history. So now I've spent a vast amount of time, and a fair bit of cash getting the boat mechanically sorted, I thought it was time to distance the boat from some of it's history.
