Gas here now is about $3.20 gallon at a marina.
It's about $2.37 for a gallon of 93 octane premium at a land gas station.

I have no idea how many liters that is or how many British Pounds.

$2.37 is £1.27 which is about 28p ish a ltr.
A gallon here is about £3.82 which is $7.09! Thats at a gas station not a marina. F***ing Mr Brown. He owes Jono a few Xmas cards!

Definately 2 engines.

The sooner the oil is used up the sooner the English can get back to ruling the world.

OMO - (Only my opinion).

What are you after next then Matt?

I think im going to go for another sea caravan, looking at the Formula 330SS for channel trips and weekends away. They list a twin deisel option but not many have been sold in the US so they are scarce on the used market.

The dearest (greediest) of the south coast marinas, are charging circa £1.25/litre. That, for Mr Waybomb, is about $9.25/US gallon (smaller than ours by about 0.6 litres) so one imperial gallon is about $10.80

So, to fill your Cougar here in a marina, would cost $3052

Which is why I've historically run a diesel boat, as diesel, until just a couple of years ago, was well under $2.00/US gallon, and a circa 300hp diesel motor, will not exceed a consumption of more than 18US gallons/hour (flat out) so historically, it really was 'no contest'.

I've seen offset alien cowls on an F1 ski boat so that the motors could be mounted closer.
