10w oil vs 45w oil
I got a sheet of glass at 30 degrees, and dropped 1ml of each type of oil near the top at the same time, and photographed it 10 seconds later.
The 10 w oil is much runnier ( duh ) but it is nice to visually see the effect.

You need to get out more mate!
On a serious note, what were you trying to find out by performing this test?

Everyone talks about the viscosity of oil, I wanted to see the difference between the oil I am running and the oil I should be running

Which has lower viscosity? The one with the lower number runs further....

Lower viscosity places less drag on the engine, and this oil gave me almost 1mph top end, with the same theoretical protection due to its manufacturing method.
