That's problem I'm having...... Apparently you can tell by where the dizzy is mounted, but I never get passed the vodka in the ice box!

you can sometimes tell by the casting numbers

apparently the GM ones have "GM" written on them

GM rear mounted dizzy, Ford, Front.

Failing that, look for GM in the casting, or FoMoCo cast somewhere
