Removall 620
Hi Peter, I've been using Removall 620 - a paint stripper safe for use on GRP. It's fairly straightforward to use and not as unpleasant as the sort you use on household paint...

I would deffinately recommend "International Interstrip" was the only thing that took off all coats including the primer, finished of with a 50 : 50 mix of petrol / acetone

We get all of our copper coat jobs soda blasted!
That process that neal posted looks interesting, if it's anything like the soda blasting it should be good!

Thanks all. Will give the INTERSTRIP a try, if I can find a supplier over here. Thanks Niel but your travelling costs would probably make it over priced.

Really depends on what was put on in the first place.. as i said "Interstrip" took both layers off in one application on the Wellcraft but all paints / removers act in different ways also dependant on temperature.
I chose this route after seeing the results of soda blasting (NOT by Neals company ) and the amount the gell had to be cut back afterwards to get the desired finish
