any one clued up on wet bikes
hi, i know most of us hate them, but i recently got a jet ski ( not planning on being a w*nker dont worry) just for a bit of skiing ect ect. it strts runs fine ect, put it only does 2mph, doesnt go antwhere, where the engine connects to the manifold, it goes up to a black box, where there is like a manual throttle, which a cable connects to, has been bodged, thinking this might have something to do with it, but im really a novice. any help would be most welcomed. ski is a kawasaki sp 750. cheers

I think the "throttle" your on about is for draining water out of the engine if it gets submerged, my mate had same model years ago, post a pic.

definately the top one. but it has been resprayed puple and silver. but it was stikered up as an sp 750? two things, because i just went and tested it again in the river. its really struggaling to start. definately lack of fuel. and when it does start, prop shaft that spins the jet actually slows down. ill try and get a pic posted, camera isnt working at the mo.

ok, been looking into it even more. could be a 750ss also. an probly circa 1994/5 the throttle i was on about, was connected to the switch on the left side of the ski. the ski has one of these either of it. again, not really sure what they do either.
