Stopped for fuel at about 2am saturday morning. I think this pic captures somma the bleaker moments well - mile after mile after mile, only stopping fer another top up of diesel.

We were most disappointed with the roadside cuisine in Sweden - only Macdonalds & BK, which we overdosed on - don't think I could ever eat another. No kebab shops in sight.
Fortunately a station in Denmark had some decent frankfurters in a baguette - tasted like heaven!

Cheers Mange. First one in the UK.

Hopefully people will like it and Richard will get a chance to make a few more.

Went to bed at about 9:30pm last night - woke up at 10am this morning.
Still knackered - need more sleep!

Mixed emotions, TBH. It means I'm now at the beginning of certainly the biggest project I've done for a long time, if not the biggest of all. I'm sure there will be many high & low points along the way, but I'm looking forward to cracking on with it.
