I had one of these from almost new,
brilliant bus but could it drink!! when towing.
I would guess 152 gallons maybe slightly more,

Dowdy was pretty much bang on the money, we burnt about 120 gallons, which works out at about 23mpg. I reckon pretty good really considering we were towing.

the 2.8 makes a little difference then hey,i had a 2.5 towing last year,got a tdi 5 now.

A quick update.
Making some templates:
Trial fitting the dash:
Found the deck had a slight "dip" in it toward the bow that looked wrong. Can't be having that, needs to be right, so made a beam with the right curve to correct it.
