... if there are two voltage regulators like descripted, two sets of yellow cables are feeding the voltage regulators from charging coil under the flywheel

... at first pull off the yellow wires from the lower voltage regulator and check ac on the wires they come from your stator at idle, voltage should rise from 5 to 30+v with rising rpm

... if voltage is there, put the yellows back together, pull off the red ones and check dc from red to ground at the voltage regulator output voltage should also rise with rpm up to 16+v dc

... upper one needs the same procedure. no output on red wires means voltage reuglator has to be replaced

... grey wire pics up ac from one of the 4 yellows to use as rev signal 12pulses/rpm

As suspected they are combined Regulator / Rectifiers !! Why are there 2 ? is that normal ??
