Big Block Boring

Does anyone know a company within 60ish miles of farnborough, hants that can rebore a big block - importantly, that also owns a torque plate, so that when they hone it, the block distortion from the head bolts is factored in. Have called everyone listed on the FER web site, none have one.

Ah yes - the guy who is on eurodragster. Did think about giving him a call, but I understood he's not a "machine shop" as such?

If I can't find one, I'll prob just order my own, I'm in deep enough that the cost of a torque plate aint a huge deal, but I'd rather not if I can avoid it.

Torque Plate

Had torque plate jet cut couple of days ago from 75mm plate alloy, they used the head gasket as pattern cost £125 not sure if thats a good or bad price but logistics of getting the block machined anywhere but local seems worse option
