Brought this instead in the end.
Farecla g6 liquid, a polisher and facela high gloss polish wax.
Works a treat!

I prefer Aquabuff 2000, it's also a compound and polish

Have not used that but looks reassuringly expensive even on ebay, I normally use Collinite Fleet wax as a cleaner wax mid season which is great. But having never compounded a boat before with a machine polisher until the weekend, I couldn’t believe the results. The boat looked so good it got me worrying about the scratch cowl decals on the outboard. Wish I had not bothered now!

Good budget solution: Farecla G3 and mop, then use Carnabau Wax for a fantastic shine - Blakes Marine Paints do it in tins
