25" is standard for a P21. they were designed for a 20" shaft to go straight on the back with no issues. Thats why i suggested the fuel tank problem and prop. As someone esle suggested i'd also block up the top 2 holes on the water pickup.

Hi Rob,
Tank is fitted under full length of floor. I could empty it and add a removable tank, at the rear, to try it. I would be grateful if you could keep in touch and remember me, when you are over here. Not only for the chance to try another prop but to have someone who knows what they're talking about, actualy on the boat.
Chears
Karl,
I've just ordered a nose cone from Bob's, with the twin pipes. I'll have to buy a fishing rod, till the cone gets here.

Rob, I'm on the island of Mallorca, could get the ferry over or, if reliable and good seas, I could bring her over by sea.

Looking at the side on view (profile) of my videos. It does look like there is more of the hull, in the water, than most other videos I,ve seen, of this size boat and engine combination.

Hi Sinkunit0,
Your transom cutout looks very much like mine, maybe it's a standard cutout on the 21. It all sounds like I need a jack, to keep the engine lower, for skiing etc and to bring it up for speed. I hope to get the nosecone soon, that will resolve the water pressure situation, I think. Aparently, the extra setback will give more leverage, to lift the bow. What prop are you running?

if your transom looks like mine its being cut down for a 15" mid you need to raise the engine up on thebolts or get a jack plate but not more than 6" of set back. i,m running a trophy 24"

Looks like its been cut but only by about an inch
Looked at your video and water pick ups are too high
i wouldnt run again until you either get motor about an inch lower or low water pick ups.

Does that mean cutting the transom down 1", or wait till I can find a lifter and mount that lower?

Up to you mate, is the saddle hooked on the top of the transom at the moment?
