Dull Gel Coat, Can it be Polished back to a high standard?

My boat is red, that worst colour of all time for fading! Can anyone tell me the best way of restoring it and what to use?
Does anyone have any idea what a respay would cost?

Rob.

i had a red boat and it was a real pain it oxidised a couple of days after polishing, you can use a light cutting compound and a good polish to bring it back, but it will oxidise eventually unless you spend loads of time cleaning it.

Should do if you cut it back enough and spend some time waxing properly!
