Eagle prop Ron hill

Just wanted to know if a Ron hill eagle 3 blade 26p prop are any good, going on a phantom 21 225 promax right handed prop, got to get a new prop so want the best for the job really, thanks

Would have thought the pitch to be a little high, but what rpm were you running with previous props.

A pic of the eagle prop might help too. A lot of guys here much more familiar with the P21, but thats info theyre probably going to want to know too!

What gearbox have you got?

We've had good results with Yam drag props. Good speed and handling.

Prop

Thanks for the reply, had a lazer 23 running at 6500 rpm so thought abit high, haven't got a pic but its very much like a chopper, it's a sportmaster gear box

6500 isn't too high for a promax. I ran mine at 7k on my cat for years with no issues at all. Best merc I've ever had.

That prop looks very similar to a yam or ET, looks like a good prop to start with, Id be leaning towards the 24, but the 26 might spin up too, as the promax has guts!
Be nice if you could borrow a 24 yam to test before you buy. See if theres someone on here with one close to you, that you could meet up with some day and test it.

Put an ad up here in the trading section, or look on ebay.com or try the US.
I had a brand new one, hit something first time out with it, wrecked the gearbox too.

Are you on std Merc shaft or Fat Shaft ? I dont really want to sell it but no doubt can find one if it works !!
