Electrical
Can anyone advise where i can purchase some decent electrical connectors ?
I have tried all the standard places ie: maplin/chandlers/autofactors etc.. but can only get the cr@ppy red/blue/yellow ally things which last about 2 mins.
was after some 6 / 8mm ring terminals & male / female spades
Any ideas ?

Yeah, TD and I have bought fantastic quality, adhesive shrink sleeve crimp terminals in the states before, and I think he's now found them available over here. not cheap though, both here, and in the states. you'll have to ask him where though, as I can't remember.

Index Marine in Poole seem about the best value over here. CPC (Farnell) stock them, but they're a bit pricier.

According to the lady behind the counter, they aren't neccessary in a marine envoirment, mind you she also told me that all your wiring should be done in red or black.....no colours. When I said I used colours for different circuits, she told me that I was doing it wrong. Apparently, they supply Sunseekers with red and black (and green!) wiring, and they know what they are doing.

I know about that - to be fair we use printable heatshrink at both ends of each wire - the reason is there is no coloured marine grade cable that I can find!
