Fletcher 199

Does anyone have any information regarding Fletcher 199's or even know someone who is an expert in the model?
The rumor on the net is that there is only made about 120 pieces, but I never could get confirmed anywere.
Furthermore, I would like to know who usually make holes in the transom to determine the height of the engine.
Is the manufacturer of the boat, or is it the person who is the first to mount a motor on the boat?

Is there one that also could indicate the weight of a Fletcher 199 it would be great?

Thanks guys!

you are more than welcome to write in english at our site. :-)

We bought a 199 from new in 1991 and the first guy who made the holes in the transom was the guy who mounted the yam on it and not fletcher.

The engine has to be out of centre , about 1,5 " to the right, if engine is bigger than a 90hp outboard.

Some years ago i wrote with Troels, who is also in here. He talked to guys at Fletcher who told him that 120 were made.

A 199 has been weighed and overall weight with trailer, fuel and some stuff was around 1150 kg.

The Transom is too low for excessive highspeed handling if you dont have a lift.

Best regards!
Andi

Super katalog
Any info regarding the engine hight of the motor on a Fletcher 199?

Right now the kavitationplate is in line with the bottom of the boat.
Wouldn't mind to mount it a bit higher, but not if it's not nessesary?

Have seen it up for sale recently.
Don't quite fancy the colors of the interior.
