Flo-Torq II HD Solid Hub Kit - 840389Q06 vs 840389K06

Can anyone tell me the difference between the two solid hub kits, part numbers as follows:

840389Q06
840389K06

Also - does anyone know of a good place to pick up the Replacement prop nut and washer kit (P/N 840383A2) at a reasonable price?

Thanks in advance....

They're identical, ones marketed as a Mercury part, the other as a Quicksilver part. The K one has a prettier box.

Only place to buy nut kit is from a Merc dealer, they aren't that pricey!

Thanks Tony. Makes you wonder why they bother maintaining the two brands. Cheapest I could find the nut/washer kit was $43 + shipping from USA, considering they only recommend that you use them ONCE only, if you remove your props regularly it gets expensive! Will check with my local dealer, thanks.

I think they retail here for around £50.00, but I've never heard of them being "one shot", most people take them on and off on a weekly basis.

The only thing that may fail is the nylock, but you can buy just the nut for a £10 er

I'm sure I remember reading somewhere that officially they should only be torqued up once, obviously that's impractical, but to cover themselves......

Spoke to Marinautic earlier, and they have them in stock, complete kit for £55.00 incl vat, or nut on it's own for £10.50 incl vat
