Foot throttle for twin engines?

Hi everyone!

So i'm looking to use a hot foot throttle (or similar, i can't afford an 'in control' ) on the cat for the twin engines. They're yams so are push throttle.
I've got a pair of blocks that convert a normal throttle to take twin engines so thats ok...

My question is this. In my dad's boat with hand throttles i normally have to tip one slightly further forwards to get the engines running smoothly together at the same revs. Would this be an issue for me with having both engines fixed to one 'lever'?
I'm considering making a gadget to allow me to adjust the throttles individually by a small amount on the go, but don't want to go to the hassle if it's not going to be needed!

Cheers, James

you'll probably find that one motor is always a liitle bit lazy but the stronger one will drag the other up

Yeah, I've got plenty of adjustment, it's just that on my dad's boat it never seems to be quite right, so the throttles never end up being quite the same.

So it won't really matter if one's slightly behind then? It's not gonna pull to one side or anything?

Cool, thanks burty, should just take some careful adjustment then!

Can anyone else confirm?

Cheers, James
