Fuel supply problems

I've fitted a set of WH carbs on my 2ltr V6, ticks over a treat.
Put it into gear and push the "loud" peddle, the engine splutters & dies!
The only way I can get going is by keep pushing the enrichment button. Even then it's not happy to keep going. Running at about 5000rpm, if I lift & go again, it splutters.

Now, I've tried running with the fuel filler cap off to see if I have a blockage in the tank, this don't help. The Primer bulb used to collapse before, is this because I had fitted a "Micky Mouse" one and not the pucker Merc item, or a possable blockage?

Could the fuel pump be faulty? Worked OK before on the WMH carbs!

Anyone got any clues as to what jet sizes I should have fitted? The V6 is a 135hp fitted with an XR2 tuner and holes drilled in the lower leg.
All this ran well on the old carbs.

Any clues lads?
