fuel tank earth
Hi All
Just a quick question, should my fuel tank be earthed and if so to what.
Thanks for any advice

Hi john, just as a matter of safety I would earth the tank. Just a line from battery -ve will suffice.

If its metal .. i would be more concerned about the filler (mine is and it wasn't earthed)

I would earth bond the filler, any connecting metal pipe and the tank together and to the battery -ve. You don't want any potential differences building up between any of them that could cause a spark.
